The kitchen of our medieval castle here in Oeding is open daily.
Its opening hours are:
Monday – Saturday: 6.00 p.m. - 9.30 p.m. (Lunch available by request only)
Sunday: 12.00 p.m. – 2.00 p.m.
We also still offer our guests the option of dining in the cosy, medieval atmosphere of the historic vaulted cellar at Alten Burg zu Oeding (the Old Oeding Castle).
Even before you arrive at the Burghotel, you’ll already be relaxed!
By car:
Coming from Bocholt, take the L572 motorway until the stoplight at the edge of town. Then turn left onto the main street and continue until you reach the pharmacy (Apotheke) behind the church. Turn onto ‘Mühlenstraße’ and continue until you see the castle.
Coming from Borken, , take the B70 motorway into town. Turn left onto ‘Mühlenstraße’ after the pharmacy (Apotheke) behind the church and continue until you see the castle.
Coming from Winterswijk, cross the border into Germany and then follow the main road until you reach the pharmacy (Apotheke) in the centre of town. Turn right onto ‘Mühlenstraße’ and continue until you see the castle.
By train:
Alight at Borken Station (around 10 kilometres away) and take a taxi to the hotel, or take Bus 754 to the stop ‘Oeding Rathaus’. From there, it’s a five-minute uphill walk along ‘Mühlenstraße’ after the pharmacy (Apotheke) to reach the hotel.
